The Little Giant 3-MD-MT-HC (item number 578603) 1/25 HP in-line, non-submersible magnetic drive pump is designed to pump highly corrosive chemicals. It comes equipped with a 6 ft. power cord and delivers up to 8.3 GPM. The volute and housing are made of glass-filled Ryton, the impeller is made of glass-filled Ryton with carbon bushing, the shaft and thrust washers are ceramic (99.5% pure alumina), the O-Ring is made of Viton for excellent chemical resistance, wear and trouble-free service. This pump is capable of handling fluid temperatures up to 200°F and ambient air temperatures up to 77°F.This pump features leakproof, seal-less magnetic drives. The distinct volute design and rotatable pumping head helps ease installation in confined spaces. The nut-wing fasteners allow quick access for cleaning and maintenance; no special tools are required. The pump shaft is held captive at both ends and assures perfect alignment of the shaft and impeller and precisely balanced magnets preventing potential damage during start-ups and stops.
