Corning BioCoat Gelatin Cellware is made of polystyrene gelatin from porcine. It is a growth promoting substrate for cultures of many varieties, including the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC), muscle, embryonic stem (ES) cells, and F9 teratocarcinoma cells. Gelatin is also ideal for promoting adhesion of transfected cell types. It is a heterogeneous mixture of water-soluble proteins, derived through the hydrolysis of collagen. Corning also offers 96-, 384-, and 1536-well High-Content Imaging Plates in a variety of surface chemistries to meet the user's cell culture needs. 96-well plates are equipped with flat bottoms as well as custom surfaces, to. With the increased need to multiplex, many high-content screeners have difficulty maintaining cell retention after several labeling and washing steps. These Corning BioCoat and Corning PureCoat surfaces greatly improve cell adherence when cells are subjected to many screening practices. A clear and flat-bottom of Falcon tissue culture-treated imaging plates provide a uniform growing surface. Corning assay plates include Corning BioCoat and Corning PureCoat surface. Both dishes and plates come with lids. Flasks come with either a blue polyethylene plug-seal or a vented screw cap. They have a volume of 250mL and a growth area of 75cm2.

  • Gelatin cellware is used to promote substrate formation for a variety of cell cultures and applications including culture of vascular endothelial cells, muscle, embryonic stem (ES) cells
